The Neurological Alliance of Ireland pre budget submission is seeking investment in neurological care services in Budget 2024.
The national umbrella for over thirty neurological charities outlined their pre budget asks at an event attended by patient organisations and patient representatives from across the NAI umbrella.
The Neurological Alliance of Ireland are calling for priority investment in neurological care in Budget 2024
- Funding to fully staff a community neurorehabilitation team in each of the 9 CHOs around the country, as promised in the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy, a key commitment in the current Programme for Government
- Funding to put in place a multidisciplinary team for the only dedicated neurology service for Irish patients with long Covid in St James Hospital Dublin
