The Neurological Alliance of Ireland (NAI) has launched a campaign calling for a dedicated consultant neurologist in 5 regional hospitals around the country, including Bantry hospital. Full details about the campaign can be found on the dedicated website Patients Deserve Better
On Tuesday, March 26th, NAI held an online launch event which allowed TDs and counsillors to hear from local patients, patient organisations and clinicians on the need for a dedicated neurology service for Bantry general hospital.
We were delighted to welcome three speakers at the Bantry launch:

- Professor Aisling Ryan, Consultant Neurologist Cork University Hospital
- Doctor Olivier de Buyl ,Consultant Physician in Bantry Hospital
