Brain Awareness Week is our annual awareness initiative which aims to promote greater awareness of the brain and brain conditions, as well as the need for more investment in services, research and prevention. The Neurological Alliance of Ireland has led the way in promoting and co-ordinating the week throughout Ireland since 2005 and every year gets bigger and so many more groups get involved.
The week provides us with an opportunity to highlight the need for investment in services for people with neurological conditions and their families, as well as promoting preventative approaches to neurological diseases.
Why not get involved for Brain Awareness Week 2025 and start putting those thinking caps on. Maybe think about organising an event to raise awareness of neurological conditions. Some others ideas include an information stand or information seminar, webinar, design an awareness flyer/poster, a coffee morning, fundraiser, art photography exhibition, sports event or run/walk for brain awareness or take this opportunity to get political and meet with your local public representatives.
We look forward to working with our NAI members and Brain Awareness Week partners, along with so many other groups, which include, Neurology & Psychology Departments, Hospitals, HSE, Department of Health, Hospital Staff, Schools nationwide, Universities, family members and carers and so many more.
