NAI, along with members Multiple Sclerosis Ireland and An Saol Foundation appear before the Oireachtas Committee on Disability Matters to highlight the need for access to neurorehabiltiation services within the context of the UNCRPD.
Article 26 of the UNCRPD enshrines the right to rehabilitation, NAI and its member groups highlighted that access to neurorehabilitation services for people with neurological conditions is often a post code lottery and while there has been very welcome investment in the Neurorehabilitation Strategy, more needs to be done to meet Ireland's obligations under Article 26.
