Following on from the NAI Patients Deserve Better campaign for community neurorehabilitation teams, the recent Budget saw dedicated funding allocated, for the second year in a row, to support the roll-out of these teams nationwide.
We want to take this opportunity to thank all our members and supporters involved in the campaign, which saw over 10,000 e mails sent from the campaign website and over 90 parliamentary questions raised by TDS in support.
We aim to have further clarity shortly on the CHO areas which will be funded through the Budget allocation and will continue our advocacy until all areas have a dedicated community neurorehabilitation team as promised within the National Neurorehabilitation Strategy.
